The World in one place

Dr. Gary Greenberg (www.sandgrains.com) took this image of the full soil collection mix.  It was taken on an Edge 3-D microscope with a magnification of 125 times the actual size : 1/10 of an inch across.  The orange spec in the center is 1/3 of a human hair.

I will post later a partial list of the elements found through a chemical analysis in a Los Angeles laboratory.

I wonder if we could say that "all of this is seen in one orbit of the International Space Station" since this mix is from all the UN member states. After all, this is a conceptual art project.
